KITTENS ADOPTED! Very FRIENDLY Mama Siamese Flame Point STILL LOOKING for HOME-SWEET-HOME!

Meet Birdie, the Flame Point Siamese Rescued Mama, and her 3 Orange Kittens!

Img_0835
Img_0765

Birdie got her name because she does not meow, but does a combination of a chirp and a purr. It has the effect of showing her pleasure and happiness. She was rescued in the nick of time, by me,  from Animal Control along with her 3 little Buff Orange babies. They are all so friendly and precious! Birdie, their Mama, is a beautiful Flame Point Siamese, and has wonderful chrystal clear Blue eyes. She is a wonderful kitty! She is a young and small Mama, as well as a fun little family companion! They would all make the perfect family pets.

All four will be ready for adoption in about 3 weeks! Come and meet them now!

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!

All cats and kittens coming into my home have been tested for FiV and FeLV. They are also treated for fleas and any other illnesses that show up. They have all received a fecal test and treated for any intestinal parasites if found. Upon adoption (unless otherwise arranged) they will be spayed or neutered and have received their first round of vaccinations (pending on age). Older cats may just need their yearly boosters.

The most important part of rescuing and fostering kittens and cats, besides good health and proper vetting, is to spend as much time as possible showering them with love, attention, and assurance, so that they blossom into their own personalities and ultimately are the most adoptable addition to a good home and family.

Other than this they are feed the most heathy diet to support my intent of overall health and happiness.

Mowgli and Baloo, two kitten brothers, looking for their very own home sweet home!

Img_1108
They were rescued from a hoarder who's home went into foreclosure. In fact their Mama came to me so heavily pregnant, she gave birth the day after she arrived. These two brothers love each other so much, and make me laugh as there is a bit of Tweedledee and Tweedledum about them.

Img_1105

They are VERY loving, purry, and playful. They are both fully Vetted: netered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FiV, and fecal tested.

I have many other rescued cats for adoption (any cat or kitten on the two pages of blog posts not labeled "ADOPTED!") that are sweet as sugar and waiting their turn as well for a forever home. If you are looking for a specific personality, please ask as I may have who you are looking for!

KITTENS and CATS, RESCUED and now for ADOPTION!

Rescued and For Adoption! First, meet Carmelita's three happy little babes (see below post about sweet Carmelita for adoption as well): Sir Pouncival, the Lady Jellyorum, and Lady Jennyanydots.

Their names are from T.S. Eliots book: "Old Possums Book of Practical Cats". They are rearing and ready to bring light to one's lives. They truly are a joy as they were nurtured and doted on by the most gentle and loving of Mamas. She was rescued in the very nick of time, along with some hitch-hikers who were not initially detected!

I also have the wee little orphan "Mouse" who is looking for his forever home-sweet-home, and in the post below little "Mowgli" and "Baloo". I am also helping a friend who rescued a Mama and her babies find homes for Mama "Grio", and babes: "Clementine" and Bird".

Many other cats and kittens that are looking for their family and forever homes are for adoption as well! Please scroll through previous posts to see them. Thank you!

** ADOPTED!! ** Meet the Lady Jellyorum ("Jelly Belly" for short)!

Img_0688

She is a female, and is 7 weeks old. She has a VERY distinct personality as she is very certain of herself. She looks at you directly with her beautiful light green eyes as if pondering on who you are. She is sweet to boot, and inspires your heart to spill over! She loves to inspire her brother below, Pouncival, to pOunce!

**ADOPTED!! :) **  Meet Sir Pouncival!

Img_0689

He is a male kitten, and is 7 weeks old. He has such BEAUTIFUL and INTERESTING markings. There is a big O on his side indicating the p~O~unce in this boys enthusiasm for life and play. Here are a few more pictures showing his very striking markings below:

** ADOPTED!!! ** Meet Jennyanydots:

Img_0697
Jennyanydots is her Mama's shadow. Like Peter Pan's Shadow she follows her Mama around weaving in and around her legs and through her big fluffy tail. She looks so much like Carmelita as well! It is too precious to see the pair, one so big, and the other so tiny, walking here and there on their daily routines. Jennyanydots is sweet as sugar and so precious!

** ADOPTED!! :) ** Meet the Little Orphan Mouse boy!

Img_0648
Img_0647

Please meet little orphan "Mouse"! He showed up on the steps of Animal control in a box all alone. Despite his circumstances he is the most positive little mite with an amazingly cheerful disposition. He has been nursed and loved on until he is now ready for adoption! I am guessing he is about 6 weeks old. Because he came to me as an orphan he was already weened.

Meet Mama "Grio" and her precious babies, "Clementine" and "Bird".

Mama Grio

A friend responded to a situation in which this sweet Mama and her babies were being threatened by their owner to be taken to Animal Control if someone did not take them. Sweet Mama Grio was this person's cat. She was not spayed and thus eventually had kittens, in which the previous owner made the previous threats. Thank goodness they were taken into Ann's care! Mama Grio is happy and such a good girl who was just trying t be a good mama… And a good mama she is! Because of her doting Mothering, her babies are happy, healthy, and wonderful little personalities!

Two of the four kittens have found homes. My friend is seeking homes for the remaining three: Grio, Clementine, and Bird. "Grio" is a young Female spayed Calico cat. Her baby "Clementine" is a 10 week old spayed Torti. Her baby "Bird" is a male black kitten about 10 weeks old.

Please contact Ann at: yoga_lady@earthlink.net or 404-569-1434 about Grio, Clementine, or Bird

All of these cats were rescued from our local Animal Control kill shelters here in Georgia. Georgia rates as one of the worst states for our companion animals. These rescued animals come into foster care here so that they can live, heal from illness, get veterinary care, and get healthy, happy, and socialized… Or, so they have time to relax and realize that from now on life is only what it should be for them: to love and be loved in a home with a family.

Meet three little tubby, roly-poly, sweet kittens: Mowgli, Baloo, and Shanti!

All three (and one more who was adopted) were rescued with their Mama from a hoarder who's home went into foreclosure. They are now looking for their forever families, and home sweet forever homes! My job is not just rescuing them, but making sure they are in the best health, and are ready to be the best family members possible in giving them lots and lots of love and attention.

It is very hard to take pictures of kittens! I am hoping to get some better pictures soon.

Img_0476
*ADOPTED!* Meet little female Shanti (now "Candler!"). She is a long hair black kitty, and has got to be the softest little creature I have ever laid hands on! And she gets fuzzier and fuzzier seemingly by the day! She is so sweet, and at 5 weeks old already rolls over so I can tickle her soft, tubby little belly. All kittens are not available to leave until they have finished nursing at 8 weeks, BUT they can be adopted!

Meet precious little Mowgli! Mowgli is a 5 week old black boy. He and his brother, Baloo, almost seem like twins as they peer at you side by side conferring amongst each other. I know from personal experience that there is something about black cats that make them special. I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is though. I am a fan as you would know if you came to my house and met my old boys. :)

Img_0468
Meet this awesome little guy, Baloo! He and his siblings are looking for family that love them, and their forever home-sweet-home! He (and his siblings) would be the perfect, most awesome family companion.

They will all be spayed or neutered before going to their new homes.

** ADOPTED!! ** MEET RESCUED MOMMY, CARMELINA CANDY QUEEN~ ~ ~

Img_0111
Rescued in the nick of time, Carmelina is as luscious and sweet as the dreamiest caramel candy. According to the Veterinarian she has four little babies nestled inside of her that will be born soon here! Now that Carmelina has a place to relax, have, and care for her babies, she is going to be spoiled rotten so that all her babies know is the gentle purring of a happy Mommy to be.

Carmelina and her babies (BORN: March 12) are all looking for their forever home-sweet-homes. Do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

They all have their individual stories, and have gone through amazing transformation considering their backgrounds. If you are curious to know anything about one of my rescued kitties here, please ask! We would love to hear from you!

ADOPTED! ~ MEET THE FABULOUS, ONE AND ONLY SNOWBALL! ~

Mail
Snowball was taken in by a Newnan-Coweta Humane Society volunteer when he was found in a busy parking lot on a very cold night. No one ever came forward to claim this sweet boy. He is a wonderful, relaxed kitty who gets along with everyone, including his foster Mommy's dogs. In general has the best personality (you can see we are his fans). He is smart as he knows he is one lucky boy, and is enjoying every moment of his great luck in life!
If you are interested, or have any questions please contact:
He is FULLY vetted including microchipping.
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

MEET VIVI

Img_0908
Vivi is pure sweetness. To me, she is a perfect balance, and would make THE perfect companion and family member. She was rescued by a hair on her chinny-chin-chin from Animal Control, and is certainly aware that things have changed for the better. She is a happy little girl!

Img_0878

She spends her days exploring, playing, coming by to chit chat for a bit (such a cute meow), and get some loving (she is sooo soft), soaking in sunshine, and all the things that cat's love. Vivi knows for sure she is lucky and loves her life.

We are guessing she is about 9 (as of this post) months old. She is spayed and fully vetted. Please ask if you have any questions about sweet Vivi!

MEET CEDELLA MARLEY!
Img_2122
Meet young Miss Cedella Marley! She was a Mama cat I rescued with her kittens. All of her babies are grown now, and she is rearing and ready like a revving purr machine to find her very own family. She swishes her tail like swaying seaweed when she is happy, and has amazingly beautiful markings! Look at that face! Lacking opposable thumbs, she looks as though she got dressed for the party with that amazing eyeliner, and now is just waiting for her forever home-sweet-home to go to!
She is fully vetted: Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FiV, and been fecal tested and treated. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
***BOTH ADOPTED TOGETHER!! YAYAY!***
 MEET KITTENS TEDDY AND BEAR
Img_0653

Teddy, your quintessential "Morris" kitty.

Img_0670
Teddy & Bear (with food on his face!): The dynamic duo!

Img_0682

Bear has THE CUTEST FACE!!

This pair of brothers were just rescued and re-named Teddy and Bear because they are just too Teddy Bearish to resist the moniker… They're just a soft, sweet, playful, and cuddly duo. Teddy is your quintessential "Morris" kitty, and Bear has the most precious little face, and is an extra sweetie pie! They would be the perfect family companions.

They are both males and just a few months old. They are neutered, and are in the process of getting their kitten inoculations. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me!

***ADOPTED!!! :)) *** MEET MEKO!
Img_2291
Meko (her full name is Kameko which means Tortoise shell in Japanese) is a tiny spritely little female. She is about 7 months old and is the most fun and confident little girl! She loves everybody: children, adults, dogs, and other kitties especially. Everyone loves Meko… It is hard not to.

She is fully vetted: Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FiV, and been fecal tested and treated. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have further questions!

MEET JIGGY~

Img_2225
Jiggy is a very sweet, but shy boy. He has a wonderful shiny coat, and is very bonded to other kitties. He would be perfect in a home with other kitties, and with someone who would allow him to be himself on his own terms. I see quite the potential mouser in him as well…
He is fully vetted: neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FiV, and been fecal tested and treated.. He has been fostered in my household with my young child, cats, dogs, and us people in there too! Please contact me if you have any questions!

RESCUED KITTENS and CATS FOR ADOPTION! **Post 2 of 2**

Cont…

Img_0601

***ADOPTED!!!*** MEET MISTLETOE!
Meet Mistletoe, rescued on Christmas Eve! She is THE MOST even keeled, balanced personality across the board. Nothing ruffles this previous Mommy's fur. She is just a perfectly happy cat, and deserves a family of her own to adore her, and to whom she adores!
All of her kittens were rescued and she was left behind, but not for long as the rescue made a u-turn and got her out as well! She has the sleekest, shiny black fur, and BIG BRIGHT GREEN eyes. She would be a benefit to any loving family!
She has had her basic vetting and is spayed. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!
Img_0598

MEET CELESTE!
Img_2135
Celeste is a young Mommy who's kittens have all been adopted. She is still amazed when receiving love and kind attention as I am certain in her previous life she never learned that these things existed. She has blossomed, but I think would blossom even further with more secular attention and a family to call her own. she is a beautiful white kitty with bright yellow eyes.
She has received basic vetting, and is spayed. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

MEET DAHLA!
Img_1571
Meet this giving soul Dahla, named by my toddler. Dahla was rescued with her sister and her sister's litter of kittens as she was sharing Mommy duties with her sister. She is the quintecential giver. There is a seeming qeue of kitties lined up waiting to recieve her nuzzling and grooming (well, at least one at a time..). She LOVES to be a lap cat, and would take this job quite seriously and to utmost perfection! She so much deserves the best home.
She has had basic vetting, and would be spayed before leaving my home as a foster. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
Dahla with her sister (who was adopted to the BEST and most suiting family) below:
Img_1509
So far all of these kitties have been treated for any illness and intestinal parasites via a fecal test, and fleas. They have all tested NEGATIVE for FeLV and FIV (Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids). Most have received their first round of vaccinations, if not they have gotten their Rabies vaccination.
The most important part of rescuing and fostering kittens and cats (besides assurance of health, and proper vetting) is to spend as much time as possible showering them with love, attention, and assurance so that they blossom into their own personalities and ultimately are the most adoptable addition to a good home and family. Other than this they are feed the most heathy diet to support my intent of overall health and happiness.

All kittens fostered in my home are rescues from death from our local Georgia Animal Controls.
They have been around other cats and kittens. They are in a foster home where they have had contact with my very relaxed dogs (not a good test for more energetic dogs), and by their choice, experience around our lively toddler. They have their own big, sunny cat room they can freely enter and exit at will, that toddlers nor dogs can enter.
Upon adoption, the adopter(s) and I reach an agreement about mandatory spay and neuter and further vaccines which I receive at an extreme discount price.
I am fostering some of these kitties as a volunteer for Newnan Coweta Humane Society: http://www.nchsrescue.org/
They are a 501c3 charity, group of dedicated volunteers who raise money for rescue. They are not a building facility. Please check out their WONDERFUL work! I am deeply committed to them as a group of people who get things done without lacking an ounce of quality or commitment, and the gifts they brought to Coweta County community.

If you have ANY questions, please ask! I am more than happy to answer:

***BOTH ADOPTED*** MEET LILLY AND LUCY!
Dsc_0091
Lilly is a Siamese x female who is 6 months old. Lucy is a Tabico (Tabby and Calico) female who is six months old. They are stunningly beautiful little girls, and are so sweet and soft! They have become very bonded to one another as they have travelled the path from neglect to being rescued. They are now looking for their very own family and forever home. They would love to come warm your toes on these cold winter nights, and entertain you the rest of the year! They are both FULLY vetted.
Please contact Kristy Grieco if you have any questions at: 404-401-6793 or kgrieco@bellsouth.net

**ADOPTED!!** MEET FERRY!
Img_0089
Img_0088
Ferry is an 8 week old female.  Since she has been here she has definitely gained her normal sense of kitten spark and vigor from her paltry start in life. She is hilarious as she darts and dashes around the room with the sudden unexpected moves that are somewhat clumsy yet explosive in their kitten excitement! It is wonderful to watch her blossom into this full kitten being after nursing her a bit, and fattening her up with a healthy diet.
Ferry has been tested for FiV and FeLV and is neg./neg. on both. she has had a fecal test, and has been treated for intestinal parasites. she has been treated for fleas, ad given her first round of vaccines so far. I am fostering her in conjunction with the dedicated group of rescuers, the Newnan Coweta Humane Society: http://www.nchsrescue.org/
She is ready and rearing for her new home!

**ADOPTED!!**  MEET SWEET GRETEL~
Img_0564
Gretel is one of the softest and sweetest kitties. She is one of the first Mommies I rescued this year with her litter of wee kittens. All of her kittens are now off in the big wide world having found their special families,  and sweet Mama Gretel deserves just the same. She had a rough start in life, and even while facing death as a new Mama in Animal Control she loved and cared for her precious babies. She is happy here, but I would LOVE for her to get more secular attention and spoilage ;) I think she would too!
Gretel is about a year old, as un-spayed females get pregnant early! She is a calico purry love bug.
Gretel will be fully vetted upon any potential adoption.

HERE ARE SOME IMAGES OF OTHER SWEET DESERVING MOMMIES WHO ARE HERE AS FOSTERS AND LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOME-SWEET HOME! I WILL BE ADDING THEIR PROFILES IN THE NEXT DAY AS MY COMPUTER CRASHED LEAVING ME LITTLE TIME.
